01
What actually arrived, in their words, not yours
Forty anonymous answers read against what you meant to happen. No score, no ranking, and nobody is asked to grade themselves.
02
The people who agreed with you while picturing something else
The ones who disagree already told you. These are the ones nothing else finds, and they are why good work comes back built on a different plan.
03
The place the meaning changed on the way down
Not that it went wrong somewhere. Which floor, which words, and what they turned into. Saying it again with better slides stops being the only move you have.

Without running a survey, without asking anybody how they feel, and without telling the organisation that something has gone wrong.

Two years into a transformation that should by then have been nearly finished. The board, the senior team, the project team, the supplier and the users each had their own picture of what they would get, and each made sense from where they sat. When someone finally took a baseline, it was about 30% done.

A delivery executive brought in to the programme. Names and companies are left out.
Leonardo Zangrando spent over twenty years in corporate strategy consulting, working with boards and executive teams across Europe. The same thing happened consistently: the strategy was right, and it dissolved somewhere between the room and the people who had to act on it. This is the instrument he built to find out where.

Julia Dhar and her colleagues at BCG put an undescribed change to six thousand people in a dozen countries, a thousand executives and five thousand everybody else. Seventy per cent of the executives felt positive about a change they knew nothing about. Fewer than half of everybody else did. Reported on HBR IdeaCast, alongside The False Alignment Trap, Harvard Business Review, July 2026.

You can always ask.
The reading is the part that does not scale.

The Landing Scan starts with a short conversation about how you read your last session. About forty of your people then say in their own words what they took away, once soon after and again at day 21. You get the readout: what arrived, who agreed while picturing something else, and where the meaning changed on the way down. £3,185 instead of £4,900 if you confirm the Landing Scan by 30 November (35% off).
